The Bulldog defense has allowed just one touchdown in two games this season.

State hasn't begun a season with a 3-0 overall record since 1999, and only started off with a perfect mark after three weeks 19 times in school history and only five times since 1980.
Head coach Dan Mullen's teams have had remarkable success against out-of-conference foes. The Bulldogs have won 13 of 15 non-conference tilts, including 12 straight dating back to Mullen's arrival in 2009.
The school record for consecutive non-conference victories is 18, set from 1941-47. The second longest is 13, set from 1939-41.
