What to Watch: Troy's pass attack versus MSU secondary. Corey Robinson is coming off a 485-yard game against Louisiana-Lafayette. Cornerback Johnthan Banks leads all active players with 14 interceptions. Corey Broomfield and Nickoe Whitley are experienced defensive backs and can shut down opponents' top receivers. The Bulldog defense has allowed just one touchdown in two games this season.
Who to Watch: Troy D-Line - Troy has recorded two sacks and eight tackles for loss this season. If the Trojans want to have a shot at an upset, they must put pressure on MSU quarterback Tyler Russell and slow down the running game.

Troy has the best sixth best home record in the country since the Trojans joined the FBS in 2001; Troy's 46-9 mark ranks behind just Boise State, Oklahoma, USC, TCU and Ohio State.
Mississippi State enters its 2012 road opener at Troy with its first 2-0 record since 2000. The Bulldogs take on the Trojans at 6 p.m. Saturday, in a game which will be broadcast on ESPN3.com.
State hasn't begun a season with a 3-0 overall record since 1999, and only started off with a perfect mark after three weeks 19 times in school history and only five times since 1980.
Head coach Dan Mullen's teams have had remarkable success against out-of-conference foes. The Bulldogs have won 13 of 15 non-conference tilts, including 12 straight dating back to Mullen's arrival in 2009.
The school record for consecutive non-conference victories is 18, set from 1941-47. The second longest is 13, set from 1939-41.
