Recruits react to MSU's loss to Auburn
Following Mississippi State's 41-34 loss to Auburn on Saturday, BulldogBlitz sent out a mass text message to several of MSU's top recruits asking their thoughts on the game.
Here are their reactions...
Kivon Coman - "I feel like they had some bad calls and they played through adversity. I still think they will come out on top at the end of the season!"
Nelson Adams - "I think the defense has to play better. I think they played hard but came up a little short."
Quadry Antoine - "It was a tough loss. I thought the refs had some bad calls but they just have to keep their heads up and not let it get to them. I think they are going to be alright."
Devon Bell - "Put it in the past and worry about LSU."
Cole Carter - "I thought they responded really well being down two touchdowns. Vick Ballard played amazing and the defense came up strong after struggling. The offense, without the starting left tackle and then Quentin (Saulsberry) getting injured, played well. It was a great game to watch."
Lelland Ducksworth - "I watched the game and thought that Mississippi State did great but then in order to win a game a team must win the turnover battle. The turnover at the beginning of the game hurt them but I'm sure they will rebound from that loss."
Torrey Bell - "I think there were a few small mistakes made on defense. Things happen but they are still the best team in the SEC. I can't wait to dress in maroon and white."
Frederick Brown - "I thought the game was very good. Very exciting. A lot of big hits and runs and a couple of catches. I thought MSU was gonna win it."
Will Redmond - "It was a good game, which we should've won. But throughout the game it showed the fight the team has and that they are tough. It's gonna be tough to beat them."
Deonte Evans - "I thought they were a little slow at the beginning but they picked it up and played hard all the way to the end and just came up short. I'm just happy they never gave up."
A.J. Jefferson - "I really think they should've beat Auburn. It was still a real good game. They impressed me a whole lot."
